Contest $30 Logo Design - Winner has to make business cards too.

Hey all,

I'll try to keep this simple so that you can get creative. We need a logo for a website design/development company.

Once selected, the winner will also have to design the business cards for the company and will be awarded $30.

Attached, you will find an image that shows the structure of the site.



The logo will go at the top left as shown in the image. The company name and tagline are also within the image.

I will need a high rez and large version of the logo to keep in my records, and one more (again hi-rez) that will be used on the site - I don't have a specific size in mind, but you can see where it will go, so try to size it accordingly.

Some comments -

best designers: Your submission is too "flat".. I would prefer to see something more 3d-like... more special...

logoesdesign: It looks too playful... a little childish even.. these are not the attributes that we need for this one since it's a web development company. We want it to be professional and classy.

Razi3l: Not too bad, but not that good either. Again, we are looking for something flashier - yet stylish and elegant. Also, if you are going to use an image next to the logo, then you must make sure that it CAN be used legally. Did you design the globe or did you take it from somewhere? I don't like the font - I would like something more modern.

Sobi: Not bad but too simple... and just black.. I would like to see something quite more flashy.

Animman: Nice submission. Especially if you designed the image.. Not sure how if the green color would match the site's colors through. See if you can improve it and change the color to match the colors of the site. Also - tell me if you designed the image or if you took it from somewhere.

Keep them coming guys - I would like to find a winner as soon as possible.

When I see a submission that is good, I will give you all a warning and I will allow 24 hours before I close the contest. I am in a hurry so please make your submissions

I really like the sphere! I really don't like the font... See if you can improve that - make it more round/3d and get rid of the texture. Also, did you design the sphere or did you take it from elsewhere? If you did not design it, then you cannot use it.

ONLY use images that you designed!

 

i have designed the sphere by myself and i will give you the psd file of that .Now i will change the font and will send you my updated entry soon .

To all - I like the choices of vectors, but I want to make sure that we are legally allowed to use them. Also, I do not want an image that has been used in ANY other logos...

About the fonts - the only fonts that I like so far as the ones from Animman. The rest of the fonts seems either too simple or too "old" - we want modern, web 2.0... or very stylish... Kain - not a bad second try, but the fonts still need improvement.

TheGraphicGuy - did you design the sphere image or am I going to find it elsewhere if I search around?
