Look in the BST section of the forums (where you should go when you actually post your offer anyways). There should be some posts there where you can see what others are asking for backlink building. Also keep in mind that relevancy is big now and can dramatically affect what an informed buyer will pay.

It depends on the site, and also the niche. There's not really a 'set amount' to be honest, so just take a look around and put yourself on a similar level to others. If nobody bites, adjust the price accordingly.

    This is my educated guess:
    Pr 0 = cannot sell
    Pr 1 = $1 per month
    Pr 2 = $2 per month
    Pr 3 = $2.50 to $4 per month
    Pr 4 = $ 4 to $10 per month
    Pr 5 = $9 to $20 per month
    Pr 6 = $15 to $40 per month
    Pr 7 = $50 to $200 per month
    Pr 8 = $200 to $1000 per month
    Pr 9 = $1000 to $5000 per month
    Pr 10 = $5000 to $20,000 per month

Are they your sites or are you just selling a list of sites that others own?

I think you should get a few people to review your list and provide you feedback. Use that feedback to sell. I would like to be one of them.

When you see buyers asking for 3/6/12 month, they are looking for someone who owns/runs a site and is willing to sell them a link placement. They are wanting to deal with someone who owns/runs a site and is guaranteeing that the link will remain in place for the specified time. These aren't buyers looking for a list of some sites with specific PR.

In your original post you said "This will be the first time I'm selling backlinks here on the DP forum". You are not "selling backlinks", you are "selling a list of sites" where they can create their own backlinks. On a side note, make sure that anyone could create a link on the sites in your list before you try and sell the list, confirming that they all have value to someone looking to do some link building.

If you are interested in charging for creating backlinks on the list of sites you have, rather than just selling the list itself, you would be selling a backlinking service.

Yes. They are a list of DoFollow backlinks. High Quality. Low OBL. That's why I only would want to sell to the first 20 so it doesn't lose it's relevance and ranking. Let me get back to you regarding the list ;)

Bummed. It looks like I can't post on the Buy/Sell section until I've been on here for over 14 days. Not happy. I don't want to see these sites lose their rankings... they probably won't. They are fresh. I guess I have to wait it out before selling my list.

These seem reasonable but again it would depend on the niche. The price would also be affected by Alexa Rank and how prominent the link would be on the web site. If the site has an Alexa Rank less than 10k you can charge a premium because the purchasers web site should get traffic from people clicking the link.

Have look at what backlink services sell on the warrior forum in the special offer section. I think you are then able to have a clear overview of what other people pay and ask for such services.

Selling a list versus those prices listed above is completely different.

The prices that user was suggesting was for selling backlinks outright, generally there is a guarantee of keeping low OBL's, often times also sitewide links on websites with multiple pages.

More than likely your list is probably a blog post, probably not all are guaranteed links, and as you sell the list, the list will be distributed to others and eventually OBL will be high more than likely. I'm not suggesting your list isn't worth anything, but your list is a fraction of what you could charge if you owned every site on that list. I would say sell the list for $20 to 4 or 5 people maximum. :)

Thank you, Roan. I will do that!
PHPGator. Great advice! Just what I was looking for! So it sounds like the best way to go is having a site and charging IM'ers to post their comments/articles on my site. The thing is, that's not an area I'm well versed in. I am really good at finding HIGH PR with a specific niche. I am willing to sell this list of PR5 - PR7 backlinks for 7$ to get them off my hands. If anyone is interested - Please PM ME. Cheers!

It all depends on the traffic and how well it converts
