type in google "link:'domain'.com" and it will show you the backlinks

 

use backlink cheaker tool.

There are many ways to check back links for your sites. I use http://www.backlinkwatch.com.
Else you can also check in Google for accurate results. Just type link: www.yoursitename.com

If you want to see exact back link in major search engine like- yahoo, google, bing then you should use "link:http://www.abc.com" query for getting exact traffic of your site in search engines because no one of free seo tool is able to see exact back links......

You have many options to check your backlinks. Some of them are:
1. link:domain-name
2. backlinkwatch
3. bulk-backlink-checker of majesticseo (This tool categorize your links as edu, gov etc)
4. opensiteexplorer
5. Paid tools

Also, if you Google it, you may land up with many more effective tools as well.
