Alexa rank is dropping

Hi,

My site is technomain.com and its tech blog.
My alexa ranging was going up till last week. Now its dropping and not improving in term of ranking
can some one help me for that..

 

Alexa rank is completely governed by people using their toolbar, and there is nothing you can do about that. Also their results aren't very stable outside of the top 100,000 and your site is way beyond that at the moment and you can expect it to go up and down. But why are you concerned anyway? Alexa rank doesn't mean very much.

 

This is also happening with my casino gambling sites. Alexa rank was came down to around 123000, but from last two days it goes high, now it is around 125000. I am in tension for it. Because I had taken my casino site for paid links.

 

That is a small variation for Alexa. But again I would ask why you are concerned? How are your sites ranking with Google?

 

alexa alogarithm now has been changed.
not only depend on visitor but many variables.

 

Two words : Who cares ?
Concentrate on driving traffic to your website and analyze it with Google Analytics . Alexa is zero relevancy.

 

+ 1 to this, as still Alexa is not a proven system and very few webmasters (mostly newbies) care about Alexa Ranking.

 

alexa ranking is really depends on people using their tool bar. its all estimated numbers. just keep doing seo and promoting your website. as long as traffic is still coming, dont stop working on your website.

AND JUST LIKE ANYTHING IN LIFE, things just cant keep going straight up, they have to fall down so when they go back up, they go EVEN HIGHER.

Alexa Ranking represent as the calculated traffic in your website, and I would suggest to use Google Analytic to analyze the behavior of the site by using this method you can determine the best way to improve your site in search engine rankings.

 

I am also facing same problem with my client website, instead of this I also facing same problem in Google page rank in Google page it is not going to drop but doing lots of seo with my client website i am not able to achieve high page rank for my client website, so please help me friends. my site rank drop from 5L to 8L...but i don't care about it...
only i concerned about traffic..which is matter...

 

Do some social book marking as delicious & digg service, its better to increase quick traffic. Alexa rank is fully calculated based on the site traffic only. Social media is the better way to increase the traffic.

 

I don't think there's much significance with the Alexa rank. Be more concerned of the traffic.

 

Alexa ranking is not the factor to worry about, it is basically those visits are considered which appear from browser who has installed alexa toolbar. So if all such visits come from users who has never installed alexa than definitely your alexa is bound to increase. So no worries !

 

So, How can i improve my google page rank than, I dont have any now...
Also, My pages are not getting google search results .. Is there any problem with my site as google have changed its algorithm to Panda

I think you should get links from the sites having top alexa rank.

That is true, my site traffic has increased but alexa ranking has dropped. And i don't care.

 

Alexa mainly pointing to traffic of your site, that to only from alexa tool bars. The rankings do not mean that site is getting less traffic. Alexa can analyze only 40% of the whole traffic. Google Analytics can help you to get the exact amount of traffic.
We all know that we care about traffic, so and we can track it by Analytics. So no worries !!!
Never care about Alexa rankings !! Care about Analytics values !!!
