Removing AdSense at the bottom of site equal HIGH EARNINGS

I used to have AdSense at the bottom of my blogs, and according to the stats, my AdSense at the top was earning very little. After I removed the bottom ads, my AdSense at the top was earning a lot more.

Really? That doesn't sound quite logical to me though. Was it just for one day or you've been seen an increase for a week or so?

that could be due to the fact that the bottom adsense was first in html source code and you top adsense was after. When you look at the page you see the top adsense first, then the bottom adsense. But if in the html code it is reversed then it means the one at the top will earn more if you delete the bottom adsense or if you put the bottom adsense in second in html source.

Interesting observation but advert size and location on one website may not work exactly the same on another one, that is why its best to try various combinations ie size, location and colour scheme.

go to your page with a browser, right click on it, select VIEW SOURCE, then you'll get the html source. In this code, the first adsense unit will have the highest RPM ads.
So you want this adsense unit to be well located when viewing your page in a browser.
To know how to locate html elements, it's either in the html order, or you need to use CSS div positionning if for some reason (like having the right column first in your html code) you need to.

Looks like the paiments have raised because you removed some of the banners, not because you removed the bottom banners, get it. The paiment gets diluted by the number of ads shown on same page, meaning less adds more paiment per remaining ones.

The less ads on your page, the higher the $ value each one is worth.
