PR Advice

I have a site which is relatively new, it is a photo sharing site. It has some great listings in webmaster sites and is now receiving plenty of traffic, getting about 15 clicks per day on Google Adsense but I what to change it so I can sell ads through text-link-ads.com instead.

The problem is they won't accept my site because it has 0 PR. Every time I use a PR predictor it comes up with 'cannot determine' for predicted PR.

Anyone know how I can get a PR quickly, or definitely in the next update, I dont need to increase traffic, just PR. I want my site to be listed in TLA asap so any tips welcome.

    Any comments appreciated.

Just like drinking is the only remedy to being thirsty, getting links is the only solution to your 'problem'.

As Tops30 stated - the more the links the better. You can try to purchase links too but if you are trying to sell links on your site the net may not be as high as you expected.

Also consider article submissions as another way to get links.

Is selling links the sort of business model you want to pursue for your site?

Submit to 500 directorys and send off a few articles and you will get PR4 no trouble.

As already suggested above ... link link link link .. start getting links and you will be on your way . If the budget allows , you may also purchase links on high PR pages and it will surely help ;) :)

I'd rather get links from the sites of high PR only. Even better if its from the sites of similar field like photagraphy. A few suggestions might help:

If you're good with photography, write some original articles and post them on some high PR article sites

If your site's done something new in anyway, write a press release and post it to a good PR website like prweb.com

Register and make some posts in forums related with Photography. Add your site's link in your signature like all of have done here. Again the home page of that site should have a high PR.

Buy a High PR domain and direct it (301 redirect) to some internal gateway page of your site. Don't redirect to your homepage, i find it risky if a lot of your traffic is coming from Google search.

Maybe a little link exchange will not hurt either. but you'll not get the cream since you don't have a PR.

Do it as early as possible. Google is gonna refresh its PR somtime in late december so if you miss the train, you'll have to wait for another 3-4 months

    G'luck

yeah the only solution is link exchange, the highest the PR of your trader the better. Well in that case you can post your request for a link exchange to this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=53
Relativeness in your content must be consider.
And for sure you'll be getting PR.

    Goodluck!;)

    Only quality links
Otherwise if you end up with hundreds of backlinks from link junk pages then you might hardly end up with PR1.

So go with only quality backlinks. ;)

TLA is your friend or BST forum of DP is also very good.:)

Get links and wait, you don't get displayed Tool bar PR unless there is an update, so get as many links as you can from pages with PR that aren't linking out to a ton of other sites, then wait for the next pr update, probably Jan 07
