How many posters on here are Indian and/or SPAMMERS?

Would you be so kind as to tell me the economic value of Indian and Chinese visitors ? Ad agencies almost don't care about them and when it comes to selling something the purchasing power is extremely low . If you compare that with the volumes of attacks and spam the indicators will be clear . It's not worth it . Just like traffic from a lot more countries is , however since the number of attacks from other countries is low the systems can manage it , but when we are talking about 1 brute per server at every 8 hours or about spam every 1 hour things change .

Now come and post some numbers that will show why a server owner should NOT ban some troublesome countries . On DP this is impossible to do an unrecommended but on other websites is a must .

Well, may be it's just me. It's not how I handle things. Instead of banning specific countries, I might take some other way.

 

So how do you handle an annoying number of spammers and would be hackers ? I mean it gets really tiresome to see the e-mail alerts going off all the time .

 

Speaking of wannabe hackers, are we talking about Russians and Romanians? Because they are the biggest noobish-wannabe-hackers-cum-script-kids I have ever seen. Huge pain in ass..


Also, about the spammers, Indians beat the rest.. But I have noticed most of the spammers are organized spammers, spamming for American and/or European clients..
What actually I wonder, do those clients deliberately hire spammers, or they hire so called Internet marketing experts? Can anyone provide insight?

 

Mostly because they're conned into believing that they can get #1 spot for 100 USD , they think they just hired a marketing expert for cheaps when in fact they just fueled the spammers .

I agree there are a lot of one liner posters, plus a lot of users whose first language isn't English yet I dont see a point here..If they are spamming then your complaint would have been valid for sure. Else even this thread is useless..

 

This issue is DP specific and has to be fixed asap. I've never seen such bad posters in a long time, go on WarriorForum, BHW, WickedFire, WHT, niche forums or whatever and you won't see bad posters. Like 70% of the posts here are just spam.

 

Yeah and maybe they can do something with all the racists and idiots who insult entire nations of people because they got scammed.

 

I agree with you. But at the end of the day they are also here to earn money. I completing understand the poor English comminication make it worse too. But I think these issues must sorted on the very high level

Yes these racist morons are everywhere. He has been scammed by an Indian and still trusted him again, why deal with an indian again if he think the are scammers. But he has now got the oppurtuinity to say Indains are scammers.

 

I'm sorry for being a racist, a big one. I've been hit by several Indians and one of them was paying in the beginning but later he became unreachable. I have stopped dealing with them, unless they of course pay in advance or have high positive feedback score.

 

@sarahk - I was a mod on a forum in the past. The reason DP is such a cesspool is because it was allowed to get that way. It could be cleaned up but admin prefers not to. Plain and simple. Get over it. There's no excusing why DP is the way it is. Quit blaming your users.

 

I'm glad you recognize it is one. That isn't my word, btw, but a description some Sitepoint users use for this place.
