I can't recall a time when Muslims (as a whole) went off conquering countries to convert people. It was usually to get the Christians off their lands.

Christianity has been the most violent religion when measured by documented deaths and atrocities over the hsitory of our planet. Does that mean Christianity breeds serial killers and rapists? Or does violence in gerneral breed violence?

I'm shocked to hear this is the first time a Muslim has been elected. Just assumed we had representatives of all religions. Religion isn't a consideration for holding office in America. This has been insured by the bravery and sacrifice of many honorable patriots since this country was founded. It shouldn't be an issue, but of course many Americans have died to make sure we all have the right to say whatever we want, no matter how stupid, nasty, or bigoted. True irony.
