Adsense for real.. or just a little scam?

Today, im out of thinking and will post.

I did look it for a while, but now i got my questions.

Starting off with adsense a few years ago was useless, since i didn't had any good running websites.

Now, a month ago i started some projects. I did know it will earn me good.. But here my problem.

First, adsense is paying me a little average of 0.02 - 0.10 cents a click.
Im talking about a Google Adsense ad For mobile ( So not admod and stuff, but just the real adsense )
A 320x50 rich- media and image banners.

Starting december.. Went with some cents a click. Let's say an average of 0.07 cents a click daily. At that point i wasn't that happy, but hey, on a 2K click basis daily im good.

Now, im working on the network every day and launching new projects every single day. Which results into pretty high pageviews and clicks.
I deliver around 2K to a good 3K clicks a day.

Weird enough my earnings start to lose it's health.
First, 2K Clicks earned me good, Now, the 3K Clicks a day earn me as much as the 2K clicks before!

I see the more i deliver the less i earn.

Normally i would not bother.. Now,.. i started reading and did some knowledge.

Facts:
- If you have a very good earning day, or 2 in a row, the next day to few days will earn less.. How? I don't know, to many people have the same problem if u ask me ( as i read how many people notice this in there earnings )
- Than there is this story, Where a "friend" of a "friend" starts an Adwords campaign. To check it, the friend is getting the guy's ad on his website. He earns 0.05 cents for this click.. The Adwords guy pays $6.50 per click..
- Conclusion..: AdWords guy pays $6.50 A click, AdSense guy earns $0.05 Cents for clicking THAT ad! Where is the other $6.45? Google Inc?

And i did read alot more..

Is it me or is Adsense i kind of scam.. I still earn around €175 a day from my projects.. But still i have my thoughts.. For what i deliver as Pageviews + Clicks, the €175 a day is nothing!

My biggest question is, Why do i earn SO low. SO bad and WHY do my CPC go down the drain every time i have a GOOD day?


Now, Any 1 do have any good alternative for Google Adsense? I want to try an other ads network. I need a Advertising network that has 320x50 ( or 300x50 ) ads for Mobile.

Any 1 has some nice awnsers for my questions?

Hi, wow that is a good click through rate. How are you advertising your site to get that much traffic?

 

Very interesting rant. Yes, I notice that too, about good days and bad days. But from what I see, I think there are lots of variable such as the cost of the keyword itself and also the region. For ex. in my niche, clicks from South East Asia are less than a dollar.. yet the same keyword if clicked from Italy, Australia get me as much as $1/click.

If you are interested in an adsense alternative, then PM me. I was recently contact by a company called media.net I can you in touch with the person in charge. Its pretty transparent and pays just as good as Adsense with a $100 threshold over a Net30.

 

Hmm, yes, that good day bad day is really creapy.. Im sure you get "good and bad" days everywhere.. It's just Google adsense ALWAYS give me bad days after good days, while my clicks and pageviews are ALWAYS the same. Sure, some euro's difference is normally, but im talking about xx amounts different.. Im just not sure about it..

 

i thought you are earning $160+ a day now? Still always gives you bad days?

Im adwords user also, sometimes i spent $8/click. But it normal....

and also publisher....i only get 0,0...$/click...

Yes sure! I have to be lucky with that, but i want to take it to the max. As livejedi said, adwords users pay high amounts for clicks, and what do i get?

I feel kinda misused if i get paid 5 cents for a click that google "sells" for $8+ even though i do earn €165 a day.

It's like working for a boss who pays you $1 an hour while he is earning $160 an hour from you. Would you accept that?
I just feel like i have to earn more.

Again, im lucky i earn that amount of money a day, but still, im sure there is to get more out of this.

You do realise the earnings per click various on the country and what not.. Sure I mean I would expect a $6 click from someone from the US, UK or AUS but if you received a click from india etc I would expect it too be $0.05 per click.

Also if you have organic traffic the keyword they look up too get to your website pays a major role in determining how much per click you make.

Well the thing is, it is all Direct traffic. 100% direct traffic . Aimed on 1 single point.

Also, about 70% is US/UK traffic..

Maybe the problem is that my thingy doens't include any text. Just some little sentences. Though i added some keywords.

Ok so,

If i:
Add some targeted texts on it
Do good keyword research ( looking at adwords which words pay's the most )

So in the topic below this topic you are saying that you are making $160 per DAY! with adsense, and now in this topic you are looking for alternatives to adsense..............Wow, you must be one lucky fish online to make that kind of money. Sure, 160 a day is good, but not good enough for what i deliver.

I deliver around 3K Clicks a day and about 90K pageviews a day.. I think that should be earn more.

Advertising is dirt cheap. True. Though, ive got the perfect niche, but it's all mobile advertising. 100% Android traffic. It's like a Web App..

Though, if i was an advertiser and could get that amount clicks a day 100% android traffic i would pay alot more!

Maybe it's just me doing something wrong.. Should it?

P.S i forgot to mension, maybe that makes a difference.

The ads are placed onto about 160 different Websites.
Can that be a point? Since every little site gets it's own CPC rate.

 

nah, I don't believe you anymore. Anyone who earns that kind of money would never not have the knowledge of other alternatives.

For the last couple of days in a bunch of your posts you have been doing the "Brag" dance. I have a feeling I would buy and sell you any day on adsense earnings. We don't freely brag about our UV's unless there is a reason for it.

Ok to make my point once again. No, earning € 57,600 a year isn't bad. Though, i think i can earn more.
Let me make a calculation..
1 year:
Pageviews: 32.850.000
Clicks: 1.131.500
Earnings: €57.600

I think i deserve more for more than a mil clicks right..?

Yes i do know alot of other alternatives. But it's not easy to find a Mobile ad service that is actually serving PHP/HTML code.
Than yes you got the famous chitika. To bad they only serve Text ads which are useless for me.

Conclusion, can't find a good 320x50 ad network with mobile ad serving for PHP/HTML.

Yes there you have MobFox, which is actually paying a little 0.02 dollarcents for a click.. Than we have there AdMob, Chitika, MobFox, LeadBolt and alot more. Conslusion, none of them do statisfy all my points.

So you think you deserve more? wow sense of entitlement? I'm sure every good person deserves more than what they are getting right now. If you don't like it, don't use it. No body put a gun to your head and asked you to use adsense or any other alternatives. Deal with it or work harder and hope you earn more. Think of the economy right now, you should be glad you are earning that much a year online with just adsense.

So STFU and man up. Or you can go look at your own inspirational thread and be happy.
