    Hello,

I have a website(abc.com),now I have 301 redirected the domain at xyz.com...The problem is the new domain i.e xyz.com is very new domain, it is 1month old. Will I start proper SEO for my new domain xyz.com...where as, I had a good rank and traffic of my old domain.

Now, I want to know...if I'll start proper SEO for my new domain...will I get bad result for it? or domain age is really effective for SEO? Will Google banned my new domain? Will my site go to Sandbox?

    Please give me suggestions...

    Thanks

Yes dear it's against to google's algo. If you permanently redirect on you new domain then it's bad for your new or bad domain.

    SEE,

I you build back link with your old domain then it's not support your new domain so Please don't redirect it.

    cheers

You should not start doing SEO for your new domain. It is against Google algorithm.

1 month is too short a time to do such kind of seo tricks. Give it at least 6 months to be safe or you can risk the site getting sandboxed.

It's Google's penalty dude! Your site will drop in rankings for a while until Google determines whether its blackhat or whitehat seo.

Ok...but my domain was old age domain...now already i have used 301 redirection to the new domain...
Will Google not check my old domain age in this case? Because, as per Google's suggestion I used 301 redirection...
Will post content to my new domain's blog?

You can redirect your old domain to the new domain at any stage, there is nothing wrong in it and no SEs is going to penalize. You can start optimizing for the new domain along with the redirects there is nothing wrong in it too.
Don't just redirect whole website in one go. Do it step by step like creating one page redirect from old domain to new domain, wait until it is crawled, check how it's performing through Google Analytics and then proceed with other steps like redirecting other pages and optimizing the same.
Never delete anything from old domain until you confirm that everything is working smoothly in the new domain. If the 301 redirect is done properly along with new domain SEO, you won't loose the backlinks and traffic.

Note: Since you are redirecting to the new domain, there is going to be an initial drop in rankings because SEs has to reindex all the pages and recrawl all the links.

    Hi,

Thanks a lot for giving the suggestion. I forgot to give you a info about my new domain, that is: The domain was drop domain and it was created on 24th Oct'2004 so its total age is 7years 2months.... And I purchased it on Dec'2011...Now, is it perfect for doing SEO? Which age Google will take (2004 or 2011)? Am I still in risk zone?

Obviously 2004, when the domain was first registered.
I would advice you to check with the previous webmaster whether the website was banned or deindexed. If not, it's perfect for doing SEO and you are not in risk zone.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.
How to know about the domain, which was banned or deindexed? Do you know any tools?

I don't think it matters how old the domain is for you to start some SEO on it

    Maketrick !
As you told - you do 301 Redirect.
So, i.e. You have some backlinks from old domain.
    Did you check ?>
Can you share domain name - New and old both
If you did 301 redirect and new site is 1 month old only, so, its important to take extra care with advanced seo for new site.
Because google always recheck this type websites.
    Reason
    1) google did not like paid links , farm links, paid website service etc. - This is seems to be paid - in the sense of google.

I prefer to say - share all things then I can tell you .

    Hope so you like it.
    Thank you
