Link juice is the assumed "power" of a link/links. "This link will pass a lot of juice" aka "this link is powerful, it should help my site/page".
It's a term used in SEO community, it basically defines that when a high PR page gives links to some other web pages, some portion of it's PR is distribute uniformly between those linked pages. And as far as I know it has nothing to do with traffic, Social Media is the engine behind traffic.
