Man, I got hit pretty hard with a fever, weakness, running nose, sore throat, headache, and a cough. All since Saturday, and here it is Wednesday. Can't believe I've still been working on sites this whole time. So who else has gotten hit with the winter flu? I'm sure I'm not the only one here currently or recently feeling like crap! Come on, birds of a feather flock together. Gripe about your sickness to me so I can feel better!
That's true. Here in Spokane, WA it has already snowed, and has been pretty cold lately... but yeah, I guess it's fall. I'm blaming it on the fever!
I can't wait until the Winter. I live in northern NJ in the mountains and I must say, when we get strong Nor'Easters, they dump a lot of snow and produce very heavy winds. But it's still fall and we haven't received any snow yet. Cold Temps yes! But no snow... Yet.
ouch! I've been hit in the cheek before w/ RB, but thankfully the twig and berries have escaped impact.
Sigh...I miss Singapore... //////////////////////// And just drink a lot of orange juice/fluids. They will help you get cured of your cold faster; And help your immune system.
Ouch, I hope everything down there is okay I've already gotten sick this "winter"... I'll be getting my flu shot next week, me and the flu don't get a long
That's too bad, jquindlen. In mid October my girlfriend got the same thing you have, then I got it after she felt better. I combatted it pretty hard with thousands of milligrams of ester C, drinking over a gallon of water a day, and tons of breathe-easy tea. Then I passed it back to my girlfriend just as I was getting over it . We have taken extra care not to keep passing it back and forth and now we're both finally in good health .
Thank God, not me this year. However, it’s a very common thing that starting in the late fall and during the whole winter and even in the spring people get cold or flu.
Kids going back to school, and spreading all the colds and other bugs they picked up on holidays to far-flung parts of the world. Isn't international travel great? Garlic is also good for boosting your immune system and helping you get over colds. It's a natural antibiotic, and it will also cure you of that pesky social life you have.
