i have register a new site and now i want to add its keywords to work, i wanna know that how many keywords or characters are enough for that site?????
Hi Herry, You put many keywords in meta tags, but I suggest you to please follow the standard and use 8-10 keywords on an individual webpage. Regards Amit
amit thankxx buddy but i am asking about only keywords in meta tags not about individual webpages as it would be concerned when i will post over there but yet i m on initial stage so wanna know to prepare my site how much character i should use in meta keywords??? thnx
Hi Herry, My answer was correct, if you asked for how many keywords. But my friend if you want to ask for how many characters, so it depends on your keywords which you want to target. For instance, if your keyword is "online marketing" then it is only two words but 16 characters (including spaces), similarly if you have keyword "Brisbane online Marketing" it is again three words but 25 characters (including spaces). Actually there is a proper limit for all meta tags.like meta tittle=65-70 characters,meta description =160 characters,meta keywords=250 characters So now you have a characters limit,now its upon you how many you can use with in these characters. Thanks
If you are aware of Google latest techniques, you will come to know that now Keyword tag is not much effective. Google is giving more importance to Description tag and Heading tags (H1, H2) after URL and Title. Any ways for keywords just select your best keywords which are closely relevant to your site, and your characters for Keyword must be less than 500 including spaces.
