    Hellos all.

Lets say there is a company XYZ, who allows you to create very professional quality free videos as a free member, but the video has a XYZ logo at the end.

If I manually edit the video by removing the XYZ logo at the end, and post it online, and if XYZ sees my edited video, will I get into any legal trouble? Will XYZ be able to sue me?

Remember that the video quality is professional and unqie given XYZ's software, so it should be easy to recognise that I created the video using XYZ's software.Just wana seek advice this. Thank you.

Since you are not letting anyone know the name of the software, how can anyone know the terms you agree to when you make a video?

Read the terms that come with the making of the free sample video. I can only assume they do not permit you to cut the credit they force include on every video you make with their software.

As for your last post. If you don't want to show their logo, then buy their software.

Yes I know that I'm going against their terms if I do this to their trial, though my question was not "whether I should or should not remove the logo". focus of the thread was actually on "will I get into legal trouble if I do remove it"... :(But judging from what you just said, I believe they can sue me for copyright infringement since it's going against their terms? And I guess it would depend on how serious they view this as a copyright infringement... hmm...
