Can I find out my competitor's traffic?

    Hello Everyone,

    How can I find out how much traffic my competitor's site receives?

    One of my friend told me that I can find out how much traffic my competitors get. Do you know how to do this?

    It is impossible to find out accurately how much traffic your competitors get.

    Sites such as Alexa.com can provide you some comparative data, but they will never provide you the correct amount of traffic that your competitors get.

    You can see traffic for keywords, but not for whole site.

    in one word it is impossible. you can use alexa to see how much traffic you are getting in your own site. but for all site, it is not possible.

    Unless your competitor wants you to view its traffic, you can not see it. Alexa only gives you a comparative data which reveals nothing.

    Discovering competitor’s traffic precisely is quite a daunting task. I have been using ‘Keyword Country’ for competition monitoring. It gives me an estimate of amount of traffic that a competing website is getting.

    I agree that Alexa site gives a detailed report about traffic on a particular site. But this service is limited. First of all, the site of your competitor has to have a sufficient ranking to be analysed by Alexa...

    yeah.. there are no ways of checking your competitors traffic. unless you hack his GA account hehe.. but I think that kinda difficult and time consuming one.

    Search Engine genie has lots of seo tools and software if you want your competitor check with his traffic then you used it.

    I agree. Not like backlinks you can see your competitor's backlinks but not their traffic. But I know some tools who can track competitor's traffic but I am not sure about its accuracy.
