Well, what can I say. Your ads are clearly identifiable as ads in my opinion. If they offer something interesting to your visitors they will click on them without being annoyed. With other words, I think ads like this can add valuable information to your site.
I like checking out sites that do ad blending, great for ideas > http://www.lawyersage.com < some ad blending going on here but I always wonder - how far is 'too far'. One perspective is that as long as the user gets to the 'product/services/info' they were interested inthen its all good After all - the basic principle behind contextual advertising is to get text ads/links in front of 'interested' parties so that they will click through the ads and find 'products/services/info' they are 'interested in' and convert. The contextual nature of the ads insure that site visitors are 'interested' since the ads are (most generally) very related to the surrounding content, and users shouldn't be clicking on links that don't interet them. Internet users who click links do so expecting to arrive at a web page focused on 'products/services/info' related to the link text - contextual ads insure that this happens...generally (when the advertisers have a clue what they are doing) Whether that page is with-in the website they are currently browsing or takes them to 3rd party website shouldn't really matter as long as they get to the 'products/services/info' they were looking for. Thats one perspective anyways
thats wicked, how did they add those adsense code in the vbulliten forums....... does anyone know what google said about it?
vBulletin integration instructions http://www.vbseo.com/f160/vbulletin-google-adsense-deep-integration-tutorial-6221/
they remind me of my crappy coding skills Hehehe Fortunately... I don't need skills in coding.. just the intelligence to see merit in other ideas that are not my own Interested in something new? http://honestwealthgroup.com/Ultimate-Traffic-Monetizer.html It's highly interesting watching everyone's reaction to this I can't wait until I get it finished
No, it is not within TOS. There is labeling, which is not allowed and also NO borders between ads and images. AGAINST TOS!
We've been through this many times. Folks have posted emails they have received from Google telling them specifically not to use images without a line seperating the image from the ad. Beeweb- your blending is great, but it screams MFA. Where is the required content on the page?
As far as I know, using images with the ads without a border like that can create an issue for them. May be getting banned?
