Make sure you take advantage of images. There are quite a few people out there who use Google Image Search to find what they want so set them up correctly and take full advantage of the opportunity to get the Google traffic. I looked at an adult blog for someone a few months back and, after they made changes to properly take advantage of images, they saw a good jump in their traffic coming from Google. Remember that your site/domain is new (unless you bought an expired domain or bought an already existing site). You will need to do some hard work starting out, to both establish your blog and to build something that can be profitable as it gets older. Save your money until you have something to show people that you are paying to have sent to your site. Pick a niche and stick to it. Unless you are planning on running a very large site (you work full time plus outsource some work), you will hurt yourself by trying to go for mass appeal. Don't make the mistake of thinking that the best way to get traffic is to write up 10 posts each for a completely different niche. Treat your adult blog like an adult blog, don't treat it like it is just another normal blog. The basics stay the same but, when you get into it and do some research, you will see that many things work differently in the adult world. Join some forums that are focused on adult sites. Find some blogs and sites that post articles about running adult sites and follow their RSS feeds, if available. Treat learning and research the same way you would for a non-adult site, just doing it on forums, blogs, and sites that are focused on the adult side of things.
I have an adult blog with about 1100 uniques a day... made less than $1 per month for the past few months with ads from adbrite.com.... anyone know any much better advertisers?
Try submitting to adult search engines as well. Not sure if there's affiliate commissions on adult membership purchases though ==
use webmaster tools to submit your sitemap. so that google can index and use clicksor for advertising they pays more.
Examples of such search engine include nudevista, club18-21, blackorchid, askjolene... You gonna have to google for submitters and adult directories, u can try this one that I found, searchengineoptimising.com/free-search-engine-submission make sure u submit only to adult engines!! u can aso go str8 to the search engine sites, there's usually some way to submit to them directly as well.
