    I think: Who fucking cares?

    just kidding.

No, everyone has this kennedy thing, but in reality.. he barely won his election and it appeared he wasn't going to get re-elected. The left just uses him as a posterboy for Lord knows what reasons... media sensationalism I presume.

Wow, Anthony, I agree with you Nixon was A LIBERAL (he created the environmental agency, WAGE control like minimum wage, he started affirmative action, expanded presidential powers, got rid of the gold standard), anti-war loser who betrayed our troops and the vietnamese to the communists. However, he wasn't half as bad as the democratic candidate who had open sympathies with the communists, thought we could never win, and wanted to pull out in "90 days" far quicker which would have led to millions more deaths.

You see the Vietnam war was started by JFK
, who was gonna pull the few officers he had in there, out of vietnam right before he died, then LBJ a democrat is the one who vowed to fight it out, Nixon was an anti-war candidate who just wanted to "get out with honor", whereas the Democrats had flip flopped to McGovern a "let's get out in 90 days no matter what" guy. Even Nixon's pullout betrayed south vietnam and led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of vietnamese by execution and murder by Communist bastards, but the democrat McGovern actually planned to do far worse.

You see conservative values are small government, and generally republicans are conservatives who want to reduce the size of government, which in turn reduces tyranny. However MODERN democrats, who are almost all left-wing liberals now, OPENLY want to INCREASE the size of government, the pathway to tyranny. They achieve this by BRIBING citizens with their own tax money, using handouts to get the poor to vote them in, and taxing away the power of the rich, and taking away guns from citizens, the greatest threat to any tyranny is a gun-wielding citizenry who can force them out of power. The next greatest threat is a rich class that can economically force them out of power, so naturally they tax them out of power.

Both Nazis and Communists are pro-gun control and pro-controlling the rich via taxes and nationalizing their assets.

P.S. JFK was a right-wing conservative. Just FYI.

"I'd be very happy to tell them I'm not a liberal. I never joined the Americans for Democratic Action or the American Veterans Committee. I'm not comfortable with those people." - JFK

"Mr. Roosevelt has contributed to the end of capitalism in our own country, although he would probably argue the point at some length. He has done this not through the laws which he sponsored or were passed during his presidency, but rather through the emphasis he put on rights rather than responsibilites." - John F Kennedy

JFK was anti-taxes, anti-welfare, pro-defense, and pro-religion. A right-wing conservative if there ever was one. The Democratic Party has flip flopped.

Oh and anthony, one funny thing for ya, "Jack says if the Democrats don't nominate him, he's going to vote for Nixon." - Bartlett after dinner with JFK.

"You have no idea what he's been through. Dick Nixon is the victim of the worst press that ever hit a politician in this country. What they did to him in the Helen Gahagan Douglas race was disgusting." - John F Kennedy (democratic opponent to Nixon)

Jingo im not gonna respond in an emotional manner. All i have to say is nsam 55, 56, 57

Nsam 263, 273. What kennedy spoke about in public was different than what he believed in in private. Just look at these national security action memorandums. Plus im neither a republican or democratic wannabee. Labels are perfect to get the herd bunched up in one place and move them right along like sheep. Colonel fletcher prouty summed it up perfectly when he said that the war in veitnam started long before kennedy and escalated into full war when nsam 273 came out which promoted the gulf of tonkin incident.
    Wake up sheep:)

After JFK's death: the war in Vietnam escalated, medicare was created, chain immigration was created, and the Civil Rights Act was signed in. Good ole' 65!?

Then a few years later oil drilling restrictions started evolving, the currency was taken off of gold, and our tax policies started to become a matter of class warfare--literally.

Yes, Kennedy's death gave free-reign to highly corrupt politicians on both sides of the aisle. The democrats destroyed their once reputable party, and the republicans really strayed in their leadership...both patterns continue to this day.

I'm not going to say that JFK or RFK were perfect people, but they were reasonable politicians....and not many can live-up to their legacy. I think RFK would have been an excellent president, sadly it wasn't to be.

I doubt Nixon had anything to do with jfk's death because this was something passed down by the ruling establishment at the time. Nixon probably had an idea of what happened and moved to make sure this wouldnt happen to him when he became president which is why he started hiring ex cia people to work for him. I believe he was the first president to introduce a wiretapping policy. Nixon saw how to gain real power which is through intelligence so in effect he was starting to build his own " cia" which is the main reason why he was setup to take the fall in watergate. Presidents are really just puppets of the establishment. All they need to do is look at the jfk assasination and they will gladly tow the line and be good little boys. As i said before , my vote doesnt change a thing. I mean for jfk to fire the head of the cia(and everyone knew they hated each other) and for that same head of the cia (allen dulles) to be serving on the warren commision investigating the presidents death and ruling that oswald was the killer before any major investigation could take place . Now thats what i call true power that no president will ever have again. The founding fathers set up the office of teh presidency to be of great concentrated power which was indirectly controlled by the american peoples vote. If your the ruling power establishment here the best way to take control of our policies(especially our foreign policies cause the greatest power and profit come from this area) the best way to do this is to make an example of a president so that no other president ever dare to even think of doing the right thing for america and the american people. Research those nsams that i posted people. Google them and u will understand so much about true power.

Rick this is what i was trying to say all along. we as americans have to stop thinking in terms of republican or democrat. These are labels made to keep us off guard as to the real problem in our country " concentrated power" and how it is being used against us , and remember the true power brokers never make themselves as visible to the public as teh president does. This is his job:p

I can't really provoke Anythony, since he really isn't here...but I believe Nixon was in Dallas durning Kennedy's assasination.

But atlas, I actually lean towards the gov's story. The conspiracy on Kennedy was rather interesting for me, for a while, but there's a mountain of information actually confirming a lot of what happened. Now obviously till we get a time capsule, I think it probably was just as-is.

Well, I tend to think it's various interests. Everyone pulls at the president, and he can't obviously appear as though he doesn't give a shit about his constituents.

I try not think party when I listen to dems or repubs...although you can't really listen and believe the words...it's all about the details of their actions. Not all of them are scum, but many are. I'm very libertarianish...I'm actually wearing a 'Liberty or death' shirt right now, with the snake on it.

I fear both the right and the left to certain degree. I'm in favor of small governement, but I find it's nearly impossible to support either party. Small government is a lot more likely to not stick it's head where it doesn't belong. Fundamentally, if you can get the control of credit out of their hands and limit spending...we can do a lot. Spending limits would be the most practical, but hard, regardless.

Rick did u read the warren report? No government on earth could unintentionally botch up a report like this and if u believe the governments story why have they locked up crucial info on the assasination until the year 2029? This is rediculous!!!!! I was brought up to believe that my country is a democracy and we have freedom. How can something as important to the american people be kept secret from us until the time that the real culprits will be gone from old age.

I wonder how many in this thread were alive and old enough "to know how it was in America" prior to JFK being elected????

Seems to me that everyone thinks the "golden days" in America were the 50's and everything changed for the worse from the 60's on up....

Hippies and corrupt officials will always be bad. Now-a-days you have a similiar version of those, accept they portray like they're the vanguard of reason...even though they present no direction. ; )

    Didn't back then, don't now.

Prior to LBJ, America was 10 times better in my opinion. His shift, and the ones after that....were terrible.

Rick it seems odd that u would say something as ludicrous as your suspicions being elayed. Dont u think its funny that we wont know the whole story about this till the year 2029 and what part of teh warren comission made u feel easy about the governments findings? Was it the changing of the testimonies which was confirmed by the people that were interviewed themselves????????? Are u sure this is the warren report we are talking about and not teh sam's club report?

There's many sites out there that deal with this issue. Mostly debunking conspiracy. I usually start-of with many questions, which make me think maybe. Then I slowly find that most of them disapear through the info.

I think one of the most compelling things was a documentary where they redid the shot, exactly (or as scientifically) close to the available factual data. It did exactly what was said it would do. It went through Kennedy, and through the governor and deflect into his leg. Unfortunately even though test was extremely accurate it hit two ribs, insteady of one, and didn't fully go into the governor leg. But based on that, it was rather convincing that the magic bullet could very well be one man at that position.

Are they trying to hide something? Who knows? That doesn't prove anything.
