I'll PayPal $1 to the next 10 people to reply to this thread with answers to the following survey. All answers must be at least 10 words each. 1. Name some of the Google services you use the most. 2. What are your favorite things about those services? 3. What are your least favorite things about the services? The purpose of this is to get some real ideas in this thread because its subscribers are signed up for Google surveys that will have an impact on the future of the entire world. I'll be back tonight to pay the participants.
1. I use google search the most because there is nothing I can't find with it. 2. The ability to search a website and it's links. 3. The fact that a lot of spammers are using google to advance themselves. Thank You
1. I use Google search, Finance, and sometimes News. 2. It is very easy to access a lot of information. 3. Their stock charts need improvements (add candlesticks, etc.).
1. I use Google News, Gmail, AdWords, AdSense, and Groups most of the time 2. Well, I have to use them to run my business I really love the flexibility of google news - I wrote a simple php script that gets the news for a given query. 3. The least favourite things... you got me there. I hate that AdWords is changing so fast. Too many changes to adapt to...
@phree_radical: lolz.... you gonna make this thread long enough for everyone and informative. Whatever it is, main reason of using google is Search, Adsense and webmaster tools 1. Adsense 2. Google Search ( yeah I use Yahoo and Msn search too ) 3. Google Sitemaps 4. Google Analytics 5. Gmail (yahoo beta loads faster than that) 6. Google Maps and google earth ( Nasa Wind is good too) 7. Google blogger Some undocumented Google products 1. Firefox 2. Picasa also there other Google Webmaster help.
Hello ... I use Google Search, Gmail and Google Maps... Google Earth is really Cool. and phree_radical are you really paying everyone .... I guess you got a lot of free cash.... how about transferring $100 to my account .. I need some .. just joking.
Haha just read from http://www.google.com/forms/user_faq.html#2 Does it involve having electrodes attached to my body? No. Sorry.
Yep, 2 payments sent, 2 pending.. p; Actually I don't have much money, and my car broke down effectively bringing the amount I have (including next paycheck) below the amount I need. But... sometimes you just have to spend some money? I will answer my own questions now... 1. I use Google search probably in excess of 100 times a day on average and consider it an essential tool. Most of my time is spent on research activities which include checking Google's blogs, and putting a little bit of money at a time (from my day job) aside for AdWords (presently just for affiliate marketing). Some of my sites use AdSense and simply could not be monetized any other way. Also I use GMail. 2. Google's business model and sheer amount of free services really wows me. I've come to expect new developments from Google to be frequent, always helpful and exciting, and absolutely free whenever at all reasonable (they call Analytics an "investment in their advertisers!"). In AdSense and AdWords, I am satisfied with their approach toward maintaining a positive user experience. I like the Q&A system in place for Google products and the features such as tutorials. 3. The only problem I'm going to gripe about now is customer service. It's understandable to have only email customer service for free products. For AdSense or AdWords which are making money, though, I think they could at least provide a better level of email customer service where people don't get frustrating, irrelevant template responses. I understand higher paying/earning associates are assigned a representative. To compete with Yahoo's customer service I'm sure they will improve their own in the future, somehow. Okay, to get a dollar out of me you don't have to be so wordy... like I said 10 words or more p; $7 more unclaimed. If you are waiting for a payment from me, send your PP address.
Yeah sometimes the days are worse than you ever thought about it.... And I agree with you on google being great for its Free web Services... even Yahoo is trying to unleash its free services now....
I am almost certain they won't contact anyone for a month at least. It just seems like the natural thing to do.
1. Name some of the Google services you use the most. 2. What are your favorite things about those services? 3. What are your least favorite things about the services? 1. Google Search, Google Images, Google News, Froogle, Google Book Search, Google Maps, Google Earth, Gmail, Blogger, Google Code Search 2. Google Search Fast, traditional design, works without javascript, changes infrequently Google Images Fast, simple, different image size selection Google News Frequent stories with pictures, good category selection Froogle Let's me know the maximum price I should pay, gives ideas of what to buy Book Search Great for research where google search fails Maps Helps me find the way and distance easily Gmail I know email will be delivered, fast Blogger Efficient to use to make sites, logs of different projects Code Search Actually allows you to find code you know you can access 3. Search Sponsored results, annoying and inaccurate tips Images Lots of images that 404 or redirect News Too cluttered Froogle Useless for anything other than finding the maximum price you should pay elsewhere; never finds the lowest price Book Search Not enough books Maps Sometimes slow loading images, finds wrong route Gmail Wrongly detects unsupported browser in some cases, adds people to address book automatically Blogger Not enough templates, slow to republish Code Search The regexp isn't true regexp / not perfect
