Reputation Points?

As far as the rep system goes, in forums with huge memberships, anonymous reps is good. But for smaller forums, I don't see the need. I suppose Robert Allen is seeing reps from his other forums.

 

Meh people have to remember to use the search feature.. jeez :x

Lol someone gave me a Bad Red Rep for no reason giving 2 cuss words in it.

 

Well if there is abusive language against you, you should definately report it to a mod!

 

Nice comment Well, reps are supposed to be like "voting" for your good or bad behavior and annonimity should better maintained in such a situation otherwise it will turn into personal rivalry...it's better that reps were anonymous [though annoying sometimes]...

Moreover I was told to "cut the crap, we know you are another sudeep's account". Isn't that abusive language that should not be allowed on DP? I would appreciate an explanation/comment from moderators of this forum.

Some people are rude....not much more to say.

 

The thing is mods cannot read your rep comments and they can't check who rep you...So, they can't give you any explanation that way...I also got some very bad comment once and there is no way to handle it except to let it go..

 

I just got 3 more bad reps for nothing. I dont know who is doing it though.

So far no one has a problem and they are happy to submit, but some guy keeps on giving me a bad rep from that same thread 3 times.

 

Are you sure they're reps? I gave you two red infractions today...maybe you're getting the two mixed up.

If you have recvd two infractions it was directed to you if not then it was for the person who recvd the infractions.

 

No I am talking about REPS, not Infractions. Yes I got 2 red infractions for posting in the wrong forum, and the other one was a misunderstanding but I don't want to get deep into it.
