Yeah, new layout is more complicated. Now we need to do additional clicks to get to statistics. Also, additional clicks to share file (now I have to hoover the arrow and choose share). Hish, please consider making this simple as before, at least for important things.

I'm just overviewing the new appearance and if I find other things I will give you a feedback.

 

i have noticed since they gave the site this new design havent anyone noticed bout when i download my files on premium its slow only get bout 150kbs when i can download at 850kbs
and now im not getting downloads at all so is probley slow at downloading now on free user this is bad for us uploaders probley people can put up with this but i think there goes our downloads

 

i wanna become elite have neally 900 files in my account i get 40 to 70 downloads a day maybe more depending who downloads my files so email me

 

How can you search for files? Search doesn't seem to be working in upper right. Also you can't copy files to the same folder anymore?

 

Have to agree 100% with paradox here. New site just makes things more complicated/difficult.
I've always posted the file size and full file name with my posts.

Now, the line with the file size in it is MUCH paler and harder to read. PLEASE CHANGE!

And to post a link with full file name previously the process was:
1 Click share
2 click url button
3 copy link

Now its
1 hover cursor over drop down menu
2 click share
3 click more options
4 click 'url with full file name' button
5 copy link

Additionally, if the link happens to be one of the ones at the bottom of the page, once you hover over the drop down button, you will have to scroll down to get to the share button!

Overall a clumsier and awkward interface. WHat were you thinking? PLEASE simplify this!

 

OMG, what happend... This 'new lay-out' looks like back in time. Like some new filehost who didnt have enough money for a decent lay-out. I hope this is just a temporary problem.
Navigating the site is very confusing and unnecessarily complicated.
Also the timing is bad. Right before the promo weekend. I got already a complaint from a new member. He liked the Filesonic page, bought a premium account and fell into the 'new' lay-out. He is lost.

EDIT : I just noticed the file name. Instead of getting the filename there is an useless number. The same mistake as Oron made. A meaningless number that is absolutely useless to see if you posted the right link.
And not to mention the magic you need to get the link.

Now FS has the best support team with a lame lay-out.

My comment is "PUT IT BACK, PUT IT BACK, PUT IT BACK"

 

I didnt like new look also. Harder to read, harder to navigate, harder to search and get links

 

Hish is a problem with links... is get normal but in my filles the code is with letters and no numbers... please fix it..

 

Me too, a lot of bug (problem) :

-if the zip is in Japanese name it appears in writing bizare:
-I can not move (or copy) files
-when I create a folder, box "public" does not appear
-when I create a folder and I want to edit it and then he told me that this file has been deleted or does not exist

 

Just 2 options for premium? 9$ PRO and 15$ Collaboration for 1 month?

There is drop down menu under PRO.

 

Another change (and not for the better) is that there used to be the small + or - next to the folders so you could expand or contract them as desired. Now, once you have expanded a folder see the subfolders, there is no way to reduce the list again short of refreshing the page.

When everything tends to ge geared to be as 'user-friendly' as possible, the changes have made FS more user UN-friendly.

Anyone familiar with Wupload? The FS site has become a BAD version of the Wupload page.

Also you would think there would have been some news message regarding the changes and explaining what the 'collaborate' thing is about.
Can't help but wonder what the reaction is of people whi use FS and DON'T know about this forum?

I've posted about a dozen links using the new interface and I there is NOTHING that can be considered an improvment. Instead its worse.

Has anyone found ANYTHING that could be considered an improvement?

I'm on PPD and with the new layout I can no longer see which files are the most downloaded files now. I can only view them
by date, name, size. Please put the option to see the files in order by the number of downloads.

 

with collaborative accounts I think filesonic and affiliate members may loose more sales because people will remote upload files to their collaborative account and then share it to everyone.

 

What is Collaboration for, just upgrade to lifetime membership, now need to pay a month for usd15 again for collaboration if wanna make money with Filesonic? It is unfair.........

 

I think collaborative account is just like mediafire you can share your files without restriction.
