I have started using unique templates on all my new directories and have used the tag cloud mod, which is kind of cool: www.Submit4Backlinks.com www.Submit4Fun.com www.SeekAndSubmit.com www.SearchTech.com My most unique directory is my first one because it doesn't use a template (yet)! www.2ListNow.com
Ok, let’s have a shoot at this, why my Ask Directory is unique: - Unique Skin made by me ; - Links are inserted inside content (first phpld powered directory that does this); - All content is unique, descriptions are original (I only know 2-3 directories that do this); - Large 201x147 thumbshot (only seen this size on Alexa directory); - Feature link include sitewide 88x31 rotating banner (never seen this on other directories); - Default display order is newest added first; - Very high deep link ratio more than 60%. So is this enough
WOW! Nice Directory! I'll be submitting as soon as i get more funds in my paypal account! No, directories are not dead. Blog posting just offers another avenue to diversify your back-links.
Following the "change movement" please check my new header... www.squidlink.com Now that directory is getting some identity!
LOL! Squidy it is named now as for Ask! advice. I kid you not... That squid's name is now squidy! Like the piggy in my piggydir.com! thx a lot for you comments! BTW - Rebuild the categorie cache? EDIT Sure, of course.. cache rebuilt. Please check and gice me feedback!
I couldnt agree more with this as sooner or later google is going to be feed up with all these clones and hammer us all..... You may want to get some of these free overnight directories to start placing websites in their proper location as i have seen religion in business and all kinds of other topics which they dont belong... ummm ill take some links on that blog of yours as all of mine are custom.... thx malcolm
There was a big cull two years ago and my directory got blasted out of the index and has never come back. I thought for sure that was it for the web directory! But, it sure looks like directories are more popular today than they were two years ago.
