I pretty new to SEO so I am wondering if I submit my site to free PR6 directories will my site get indexed by Google within 24hours?

Hard to say how fast it will be indexed but the link will help it on it's way to getting indexed.

 

I have also have a directory list at SEO Friendly Directories This allows you to filter by PR. You can View the entire list at Full Directory list

I also have separate lists at the same site for article submission sites, Press release Sites, and a few forums where my posts always show in the serps (search engines count the links). All are good ways to increase your back links

 

FFA directories are useless, SE's usually stop crawling them!

 

If all free directories were useless and not crawled then I wouldn't see new links from MSN a few days after I submit a site.

I do believe that Google doesn't count the links for around 6 months from the time it sees them. How ever MSN counts them pretty much immediately.

It says here "hundred directories" but when i clicked on the link, i was redirected to http://www.seomoz.org/articles. why
