If you have pages that have good PR then it should be relatively very easy to get a good PR for your home page. You just need to improve your internal linking. Pick some of the high ranking pages and create a link back to the home page with a anchor text (your home page keyword). This link can be in the body or at the end of the text. If it's a wordpress site then you can improve internal linking further by using the related posts plugin. Another way to drive all the PR back to the home page could be a link in the footer of all pages / posts (except home) linking back to the home with anchor text (your home page keyword). thanks a lot to Rauny who say that unique content is very helpful for increasing page rank of website..Right..But i think mostly backlinks are pointing to your inner pages of website and not point to your home page..keep it up your good job...

I found that your website is very nice and you are putting new content in regular interval..but i found the backlinks for your website homepage, I see your website having very low backlinks. I also found that all backlinks are coming from 2-3 domains which are not good in search engines prospective..so try to create quality baclinks for your website...Next updation, you will get the page rank...cheers.
