$25 site design contest

I need a new design for a singing competition website.

The design can be as simple as this:

I'm just interested in:
- A beautiful design with great look and feel.
- displays for videos, photos, poll, news, community,
- displays for banner ads on the top, bottom and right.

Templates are sold everywhere for as low as $1 from sites such as this one http://themeforest.net/

If I could find a template that I liked, I wouldn't post this job here.

All I want is the design - nothing more. If I like the design, I pay $25 and the implementation is my responsibility.

Dude, you should realise the difference between a custom design and a template. If I am going to sell this design I am making for this contest too 1000 other persons for $1, I can surely do it.

Good point, Webinx. Except, what you'll be giving me (what I expect to get) is bare-bones; not exactly a template that could be sold. Although you could very decide to develop it into a full template and sell it. But that's entirely up to you. Basically, I'm paying for a design idea, if you will.

 

A few months ago, you did 4 pages of website design for $50. And you think $25 for a single page design, that's basically just a concept is too cheap?!? Honestly, you need to look yourself in the mirror.

 

WOW! You're offering "Professional Banners and Headers and Logos" for $10 and you think my $25 offer for a homepage design is a joke?!? The joke is on you, Lizzy!

If it's just a concept, I will give this a try, but it will be a single page psd.

 

Let him run the contest however he wants, and if you don't like his price, it doesn't make you any more right than someone who thinks it's a reasonable price, for price is an opinion, especially when it does come to designing something custom. Don't agree? Don't join the contest.

well, I PM'ed the CH for questions & because it was one of his "rules of contest". the truth is I never send a design for that contest.
If you notice it , I do a simple single one page design too for $15 (but the contest never decided a winner untill today).
I love designing one page website. (and I also love to lurking on "Cheap Stuff" Category )
The point is, I'm not judging you, just give my 2cent idea. Sorry if I made it wrong for you.
and to be honest I'd like to submit a design. But I guess you already had quite designers on hand. so, keep it goin !

And the designer has not PMed me as suggested. If you'd like to submit a design, please go ahead. I'll be happy to provide additional information. As I said, I only need the design - something creative and unique.
