Need feedback on directory design

    I am starting a general directory and have ordered a custom design for it. This is what my web designer has come up with.

    Looking for some feedback on this and I welcome fresh suggestions or criticisms to further improve this design.

    See it now. Wouldn't load at all for me last night.

    I think your branding will work against you long term. Naming a directory after MJ just seems weird to me.

    seems fine . although i would like the (sponsor and about mj directory) columns to the right side and the browse alphabetically row above

    Design looks fine. But why MJ? Is this a directory that has collection of websites related to MJ? If not having a general web directory in this name is weird.

    It's a general directory that has nothing to do with MJ ("the man") but since the domain name has the letters "MJ" in it, the idea is to "imply" that this is so.

    The site seems to be specific to Michael Jackson, is that meant on purpose?
