its very easy, they use 301 redirect to other website that already have high pr.its blackhat i'm not you recomended this way,. you can find where the domain been redirect with this way : try search on google : info:ftopdirs.com and you will see
This is the main worry of today and people often pay to such sites without checking their true PR. We all should be aware of such spammers.
but if we redirect our URL to another website then the URL should be change right? but if this website use redirection then the URL should be changed to another URL and i don't see another URL then this... correct me if i'm wrong at this... and yes info:ftopdirs.com shows another website which must be the showing info about ftopdir.com So there is something wrong...
There are many such sites out there for example recently i saw a site named yahle.com they have page rank of two but nothing on the site. It's an empty site if you see the view source of the page there is nothing other than the HTML structure, but they have backlinks pointing to them. I don't know why Google didn't penalize maybe i should monitor for a while how the site is performing.
Yes dear it's possible but how can do it ? I am very confused many people says it's possible with 301 Redirection but it's Black hat SEO strategy so it is not good for SERP and Bussiness. Cheers

It may be because this website had contents before which gave it the PR 2 and the contents would have been removed for some reasons...
