I would like a cover for an ebook and/or printed book, High Stakes, a fiction novel centered around a guy who gambles.

I need the background image to be casino table green.
    Examples:
    http://imageshack.us/f/151/layoutplayingmattablefe.jpg/
    http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/834/stockphototwopokercardo.jpg/
(I really like how the left and right sides are slightly darker than the center which would accentuate the logo and design elements.)

The title, High Stakes, should be in a casino or Vegas-style font.

My favorite Las Vegas style font for the title is:

    Las Vegas Fabulous: http://www.fontyukle.net/en/LasVegas-Fabulous.ttf

    Some other fonts I like:

    Las Vegas Jackpot: http://www.fontyukle.net/en/LasVegas-Jackpot.ttf
    Casino Queen: http://www.fontyukle.net/en/Casino+Queen+Normal.ttf

Tagline: Will love overcome fast times and dark secrets?

Stylized/sketched image of red dice with white dots rolling a seven along with an elegant pair of stylized/sketched wedding rings.
    Examples:
    Red Dice Photo: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/526/dicesittingonapokertabl.jpg/
    Rings Photo: http://imageshack.us/f/46/stockphotohishersweddin.jpg/

This is extremely close to what I'm looking for sans the wedding rings and logo: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/39/stockvectorthegreenback.jpg/

The dimensions should be 9 inches x 6 inches 300 DPI.

Please include any fonts used as well as layered PSD file. I will provide credit to the designer inside the book. I would like to end the contest within 48 hours and looking for at least 3 different participants. I am offering $30 via PayPal to the winner.

I love the background colors and texture you used here. Would prefer more stylized dice instead of rendered and to be next to each other instead of stacked. Can you find more of a casino-style font and tone down some of the bold dark and light circles in the background? Thanks for your entry!

Thanks for your entry. The stylized dice and the dots on them seem to be out of proportion with each other and more rectangular than cubed. I think the rendered rings don't fit well with the stylized dice and the white dripping effect doesn't make a good backdrop. I like the font and the background colors but the background could use some felt-like texture.

I really like this one but prefer the dice to be red with white dots instead of white and black. The placement of the dice and rings is perfect and I like the choice of fancy rings! The tearing effect on the background can go. I would like to see this with the light burst toned down significantly especially the portion below the dice. Also, I would prefer the words High Stakes to be next to each other rather than stacked. Thanks for participating.

I really l like this entry and especially the dice and rings. I love the translucent effect on the dice. The only thing I would change about this is the font and to tone down some of the back drop especially the excessive white. Thanks.

The red dice are probably my favorite dice of all the entries so far but would prefer the rings to be a little more fancy. Would prefer the title High Stakes to be side by side instead of stacked and also to be the same color rather than two different colors. Not sure which one looks better, gold or silver but if you can try some different Vegas-style fonts that would be good to see. I think I prefer the sunburst alone or the little shapes alone, but not both. Thanks for your entry.

I like the shiny gold for the title but I'm not sure if that is Vegas style. The larger "S" at the end of "Stakes" would probably be better at the smaller size. I like the light and shadow of the green background but could use some subtle texture. If the sample circle were taken out and a couple of snazzy rings were added like some of the other entries, that would look better. The light source on the letters and dice (sparkles or twinkles) do not seem to come front the same angle. Maybe that's not important. Thanks for participating.
