daily visit other user profile if related to your theme
send request for flowers
and many other option

that's pretty good content, and I like to read it, yeah this is actually organic and true where you can gain more followers without doing spamming. although, these are basic steps but they create your presence visible to twitter....

 

yes i agree with you, i know seo work is presence work, if you work with presence sure you will success otherwise you think about it.

 

I don't really think you can swell the number of followers for thousands in a few days, but you can definitely increase it to a considerable extent.

 

yes, if you work proper sure you will increase more followers. but if you spam then you never increase any followers. so you always follow posting rules, without rules not never do it.

Yeah, I have found that to be successful with Twitter, then you have to be targeted. Especially if you are one of us small timers. Targeted and concise is better than shotgun approach. Look at Zappos and Gary Vaynerchul as some great examples.
