One of the biggest problems I have with Twitter is the amount of ads. So, when I set out to use it as a promotional tool I try to keep the ads to useful posts ration to 1:5 or 1:10 depending on what I am promoting.
thanks for the post. The worst thing I found is sending people from Twitter directlyu ot a sales page. Very low conversion if any. Best is to pre-qualify them: send them to a post or article on the subject and get them to click through from there.
Twitter traffic is very hard to convert IMO, maybe they are not in buyer mode like they are when seacrhing on google.
