How to use USA proxy

I want to visit some site that are not visible in my country so I learn that I can use USA proxy to visit those. I did not want to cheat any one just want to learn.

So can any body suggest me how to use USA proxy and how to use it safe.

 

What kind of proxy server are you talking about trying to learn to use socks proxy, vpn, web glype cgi type proxy?

I am not sure what actually proxy is. I just learn it from net.

I had tried hide my ip, but it either work too slow so I cannot browse or does not work either

It depends on the nature of your requirement actually..You can use a proxy but generally proxies are insecure and unreliable. A far better option is to use a VPN service. But then again if you can tell us what exactly is the purpose behind using a proxy then may be you get better responses..
