ICANN and IANA?

    What is the relationship within ICANN and IANA? I do reading in wikipedia, but still not very clear their core function and relationship.

    IANA is a department or "branch" under ICANN. ICANN mostly makes policies or "laws" (for lack of a better term), while IANA handles the actual technical side of
    things.

    To get the answer, I have receive a DP infractions:( , previous I do visit this section but most of the thread discuss about domain trade, so I post it to general section. Future I will more alert it.
