umm if its about estore i wud say go with moneybookers and alertpay
other options available are paypal and libertyreserve

for myself i would have realy oonsidered libertyreserve as payment method for worldwide trade but for a estore its pointless(unless u have no refund policy)

i wud say got for moneybookers and paypal

I do not agree, in most cases Paypal have kinda big fee + fee per transaction, to prevent any problems with small payments

    All fees are startup.
1 month ago my good friend added option to pay for product via Paypal, and fee: 3,6% + 0,25 , with total turnover 2000 - 3000$ , ofc I have offered him a lower fee.
I can assure that there will be another rate, not 2.9%. Also, I really don't know about situation with documents. Don't think that paypal will accept some high risk merchants.

Hi bebo11, given that you are in the process of opening a store, I am going to assume that you don't already have any processing history and you don't already have a merchant account. Also, that your turnover is likely to be modest to start with. If this is the case then I would choose a supplier that can provide you with a merchant account and payment gateway in the same package. If you are in the UK that leaves you with Nochex, PayPal and Worldpay.

Again, given that you are a start-up I would choose a supplier that doesn't require you to pay recurring fees. That leaves you with a Nochex merchant account and the entry level PayPal account. Both can accept payments from outside the UK. See how well your business goes without being tied to a long contract or monthly charges and if your volume of business justifies it then look around for alternative / better value suppliers.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    - Peter (I work for Nochex)
