    Its fine unless you want to use one to link to the other in which case, your links will be devalued.

    so it is true that Google search engine doesn't like blogs that post content of the same server related to another website that promotes the same products and services off of debt hosting DNS server ----------------------------

    It is always a good practice to have a blog on your website. Google likes fresh and new contents. SO a blogs will definitely bring traffic to your website.
