I need immediate help with WordPress multilingual site. Is there any plugin available in the market for posting multilingual blogs. Client does not want to translate it to one language from another. He wants to post two blogs separately with different content.
http://wpml.org/purchase/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/qtranslate/ I have no idea if the 2nd one works or not. hope that helps, Nigel
Hi Nigel, Thanks for help. is there anything free available? I am not sure if the client will agree to buy one. If I convince the client to buy one; how customizable the purchased plugin be? I have faced customization problem earlier with purchased plugins.
At least it is easy to setup a pluging features from the dashboard, rather than writing the plugin yourself.
I have installed the qtranslate plugin. It works fine with the admin panel. I am satisfied with that. I would customize the plugin to make it work for the front end. Or can anyone say if there is a plugin like this for the front end also?
http://www.qianqin.de/qtranslate/ it seems to be working on the front end here. That is the actual plugin page. Nigel EDIT: Actually, http://www.qianqin.de/qtranslate/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3 near the bottom it looks like you may have to add a line of code to make the front end work but its looking pretty easy.
Thanks Nigel I found a plugin named language bar flags that works fine on the front but the problem is it translates all the elements of the page automatically. No manual translation
