I am now doing a new website but i don't know how to make external links ? i only know to create the blog Any one can help me ?thank you
for external link, you have to do following social bookmarking blog creation and posting link wheel directory submission forum posting
Each of the above is good; here are some more ideas: Write articles and manually post it to 5-10 major article directories (if you can spin it, it would be much better) Create web 2.0 properties each with 5-10 posts and use some of these posts to link back to your money site Comment on high PR blogs Social bookmark your site - but also add the urls of your articles and web 2.0' posts and social bookmark those Hope this helps. (BTW, there are free ebooks that teach basic off-page seo, just do a Google search)
If your website is new I'd advise you to start with bookmarking and directory submission. As it grows use other options including blog commenting, article directories and guest blogging to get one way backlinks. Don't do link exchange aggressively.
One good way to get external links is to scrape whois listings and automatically email website owners and ask them for a link. You can also Google "add url" + "your keyword" and find people looking for your information in directories. Finally tou can build social media accounts and link back to your self.
it really right dude, anyway you need spinner, just do google search along with "spinner chief download" it free
When you're linking to a page on a separate website, it's nice to have it open in a new window so you don't lose people to that site. Unfortunately, Plone doesn't yet make that very easy.
Hello nowbyb, thanks for the Friend request, I accepted... here are some thoughts... I look at options from two key perspectives: i) do I have more time or ii) do I have more money? If you have more time, do the easy and free things first to improve your website's visibility, which will include backlinks and other strategies. Setup a Facebook page (not personal, a marketing page). My understanding is that FB and Google+ do not create backlinks but they are one more avenue to get visitors visiting your site, and talking about your site (on their own FB pages or their own blogs). Make a short free video and upload to YouTube after creating a new YouTube channel just for your website. I used Animoto video app online and it was easy to use, and very nice results. Another freebie: get the FB "Like" button and the Google "+1" button on your website (apparently, Google +1 helps with ranking, but I have no evidence of this). If you are selling a new service where customers may come back in future, make sure your website has a 'squeeze page', ie, a contact form where you collect their email. Over time, your email list will become one of your most valuable assets. Make sure that you have done as much on-page SEO work as you can with Title, Keywords, and make sure you submit your sitemap to Google and the other search engines. Open a Google Analytics account and start tracking visitors, how long they are visiting, pages visited, etc. If you're lucky you may have received a Google AdWords credit, and Facebook Ads Credit... you can use those as well. You can write an article and submit it to QUALITY, high PR directories. Some have suggested that you "spin" the article which means basically writing one version of the article well, then using the right software to create dozens of similar articles based on "spinning" the original one to use different words, different sequences of paragraphs, etc. Same goes for Press Releases, you can write one up and submit it to the best quality PR engines out there. Finally, you can contribute to forums and blogs and get recognition for your posts and replies if you can embed your website name into your signature using anchor text (just Google to figure that one). These latter activites take up time though, so you can outsource these and other activities. Apparently, getting backlinks from EDU and GOV sites give you a higher ranking, but I haven't seen any evidence of this yet. As a matter of fact, I don't see a lot of evidence for a lot of the tactics and strategies that I read about, and you should take my own comments with a grain of salt because I'm a newbie too. So far my key learning lesson is that you can pay $ to get a lot of things done cheaply, but the results will reflect that too. For example, for a few dollars you can buy 1000's of backlinks from other sites, forums, blogs, etc. but if they're all poor quality sites then guess what? Google won't really treat them with a lot of respect... these folks have figured out how to get around all of our games with keyword stuffing, and multiple but ineffective, backlinks from low-volume websites, forums and blogs. You can also get your email ad sent to 1000's of email recipients (supposedly opt-in) for very cheap, but don't count on many sales, or even many clicks, for that matter. You can also buy yourself 100,000's of visitors by buying website traffic to your website, but again, don't expect many genuine clicks from real people making real purchases. And if you have a PPC or CPA ads, just be careful that all of these "visitors" don't get your ad account banned by Google AdSense or your CPA affiliate. The bottom line: go for QUALITY not quantity, and make it 2+ hours each day to build up your exposure. All the best!
