How to promote a funny picture website?

I would like to know some ways I could promote my newly created funny images, videos, jokes and stories website?

i would use SEO for images for keywords such as funny images or relevant keywords to that image.

 

Try using specific keywords for all images and videos you have on your website. Upload your videos to youtube and again provide specific keywords for the video. This will attract more traffic. All social media websites are excellent ways to get a video to go viral. And, use basic SEO to promote your website.

 

I would promote a site like that on the social bookmarking sites like stumbleupon, facebook, digg, google +, reddit and so on.... I think people there appreciate these kind of pictures the most.

You could try youtube videos. This sounds like the best thing for social media too. Try twitter, facebook, myspace, etc.

first get some good keywords than make a fan page on facebook and make some fans there than do some bookmarks and directory submission.

 

You could find jokes and other funny pictures related blogs, and leave comments on them with a link back to your site, ensure that the comments provide value or else they might be removed

 

Also try adding pics to your Twitter account, especially if you have loads of followers. People love a good laugh!

Yeah...

In order to make your website viral add a link of your website on your images you post on your website. Now one by one post your images on twitter and facebook..

If possible make a slideshow of some of your greatest pic and add it to on all the tube sites like- Youtube, break, dailymotion,etc !
