Monetize bounce traffic with Amazon products. Free Wordpress plugin.

I'm building a Wordpress plugin WPBounce that would allow a blog owner to monetize their bounce traffic.
Right before a user clicks back button a lightbox pop up would show up with Amazon products.

The plugin pulls relevant products using Amazon associates API based on post content.
This method was tested for a month on a small site with 5k monthly unique visitors and it made $60.
It's not gonna replace your main income stream but it will add a nice chunk in addition to your other income sources.

WPBounce doesn't slow the site down, it's SEO friendly, google safe and will actually increase your SEO value by making your visitors stay on the page longer and it will lower bounce rate.

The plugin will be released on December 2011. It will be sold for $97 one time fee. Those who sign up before the release will be able to receive a free copy.

Does it only intercept Back button? What if someone clicks Homepage button оr tries closing the browser - will it trigger?

 

Premium version will be $67 for 5 sites license and $97 for unlimited sites.
Free version is supported with affiliate traffic sharing (1 of 4 pops has our affiliate tag, you keep 75% of pops) which kicks in after 500 clicks sent to Amazon.
500 clicks should be more than enough to earn you money to buy the license. And you can continue using free version for as long as you want or upgrade to premium at any time.

Yes it intercepts Back button, home button or close button. Pretty much any mouse movement leaving body area and moving to toolbar area.
