I suppose that reasons 2, 5, 6 are the most valuable ones, though the whole list of advantages of G+ is quite precise. I totally agree with you
Both social networking sites have different fan and user base. Also both have different interface. In the recent time Facebook is on its peak of social networking but recently launched Google+ also gained huge popularity. Using both the social networking sites will give advantage.
Not Good! face book OR Google+ for a student and business man, my personal opinion it's a time wasting sites.
I would doubt that, G+ has high potential in buiding your professional networks in an almost likewise effective way as on LinkedIn
Google and Facebook are in a battle to see who wins. Facebook for social marketing at the moment. google is way ahead in search and is trying to dominate in social. Very clever minds in both. An interesting battle.
I'd say, now.. Facebook is still the best. But, I think Google+ will surely get stronger as the time pass by.
I'm supporting your opinion, but it's the global users community that will, probably, decide which service people like more
FB is still stronger in social but google dominates in other areas. I think google will end up being more useful for business purposes, while FB will continue to dominate for time wasting and general sharing. It is kind of frightening how google wants to dominate everything on the web. From my short and unhappy relationship with google and adwords, I don't know if I want to be in google's power for everything I do online. With power, comes responsibility. With absolute power, comes abuse. It is kind of like only having one newspaper to read. There are no opposoing views for you to consider. Google seems to want it to be Google, or nothing.
On the one hand, I can't but agree with you that the users should have a diversity of options at their disposal. At the same time, I don't think that Google owners dream of destroying their rivals. The situation is very similar to the one with Apple, which actually dominates in the creation of stylish and thin smartphones and tablets, yet, there're a great deal of other companies on the market, many of which are gradually becoming more popular, like HTC on Android, for instance.
Right now fb just because it's been around longer, but Google+ will probably beat it out. Not too mention the fb security issues have been getting worse every week. They really need to work on that too, because i know alot of people cancelling their accounts because of all the hijacking.
