which the best social network ? twitter or facebook

i think facebook is great social network . but sometimes facebook confusing me , and facebook isn't popular anymore . i think i'll deactive my facebook account and i like to moving to twitter . but twitter is so simple . just 140 character and almost no widget . what your oppinion ? which the best social network ? twitter or facebook ?

Both, you can't compare these, since both the websites have their own reach and effectiveness.

But, to me, facebook appeals more. As you can do lot more other than just putting up your wall posts (tweets)
You can create, fan page, groups, contests, applications, videos, discussion boards and lot more

 

you cannot compare them as they are completely different, the only thing you can compare is traffic, facebook has quantity and quality but twitter mainly has quantity so for traffic sources Facebook is better.

 

Facebook at the current time wins hands down. The site is used much more but FaceBook will gradually come to a stand still just like other social sites, Myspace, Bebo etc..

Twitter seems to be the only one that has taken the idea and made it there own. Its must quicker and very simple. I would say continue using both but begin to build up a following on Twitter.

 

I think twitter help you a lot to bring more visitors than FB.

 

I would have to kindly argue that using both services are wonderful, as Twitter and Facebook both provide anyone who uses it properly with targeted traffic, free of charge

 

Facebook of course. I already have a lot of friend there than my twitter account has.

To be honest , I still use Facebook, Now twitter and Google plus etc . Am satisfy with Facebook

 

Both the second two have separate strengths. But Facebook is used more.

 

Both Twitter and Facebook have similar view points from the audience.
Timelines in Twitter moves very quickly, and so it gets difficult to target potential users by putting real time news and information. But Facebook is much visual than Twitter.
When there is a situation of selecting one for SEO purpose, it gets difficult as both are good for brands though it varies from industry to industry...can consult a SEO/SMM expert

Definitely facebook still now. I have no twitter account yet but i will make a profile on twitter.

 

Facebook is still popular except for the fact that they make unnecessary changes without asking for permission.

 

Facebook is probably the best for reaching individuals, while I feel Twitter is a better social media network in terms of its Internet-wide integration... the same could be argued for either one, though.

 

twitter is best for seo purpose.amd for personal use the best one is facebook.but another one i like most that is myspace
