Currently we had a website that was climbing really well up through the search engines. The home page was within the top twenty, now it has gone! the website is still fully indexed on Google and there is no problem in web-master tools - just the home page is not ranked. There is one position ranked within the top 100 or so, but this is not for the home page rather indexed page it is pulling out of the database. So for example. www.xxx.com//?totalRows_rs=22&pageNum_rs=2 The only thing I can think of it that we uploaded some site-maps to Web-master tools in recent time? Could this impact the results? I have taken of the sitemaps. See see what happens. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Maybe your domain is young - and you are sandboxed. Keep building backlinks everyday, and don't stop. You will be back.
Would you please tell me is there any existence of sandbox or something? The mentioned site is indexed and one page is getting rank then why the question of sandbox is coming. Regarding sitemap submission it is much needed one. Use some plugin i.e. Google XML Sitemap and like that to get full effect. It may be some other reason. Submit sitemap once again.
how old is the website? this can be called a "google dance". If you have been doing lots of backlinks, google can sort of "freak out" and be not sure where to put your site for the time being. this hsould sort it self out of a week or so hopefully
It is indeed an important information share by you. Highly appreciate it and equally hope that you would come up with more wonderful ideas.
Submitting sitemap for your website in Google Webmaster will help to solve this.Stay building backlinks through the off-page jobs in high pr directories..
I wouldn't worry about it. You should wake up tomorrow and find yourself in the top spot. Sites dance around all the time.
by submitting sitemap you will get slow results but keeping doing other seo techniques like link building submission
I think you are doing spamming for your site like spamming with social bookmarking and other things. I would like to suggest you that you should just post maximum 4 links in 1 social bookmarking site. Thanks
have you tried any new method for SEO? i think you should continue the white hat SEO and you will get the good result. but for quick result don't follow the black hat techniques.
How old is your site? Have you done anything else lately to promote your site on the web like mass directory submissions, creating forum profiles, excessive link building etc?
