To market an online business Back links are "BACK BONE", yes TRUE calling all people, to contribute in this thread about marketing and back links. 1) What is the best way to gain back links, consider cost effect is major part? 2) Do you think posting articles on ezines with 2 back links, just like the old days...still works? (because new panda algo bit tough) 3) What do you say about "blog guest post"? that works? but quite costly. more more more...so let push this sothat everybody get something out of it.... Backlinks are a part of your overall SEO. If your site is ranking well for searched for keywords, then that is really all you need as you will get very nice traffic from the SERPs. If you are not on page 1 of Google and your competition is tough, then marketing in any number of ways will get you traffic. Forums (like digitalpoint, WF or wherever). PPC (be very careful or you will go broke) Build a list using a squeeze page and a free giveaway. (I like this one).
1) I still prefer to build backlink manually with blog, forum, article, pr, classified which is free. 2) Yeap. It still effective but ezine do not play the important role like the previous. 3) Blog Guest Post is the best while i believe is the best option of building backlink and gain traffic from there. I believe lot of site like dailyblogtips.com and so on allow you to post for free .
In my opinion, backlinks are more important. Seo bring traffic every day even you don't do it any more. But marketing is different, if you stop it, then you will never gain traffic. In a short term, marketing can be efficient, but for a long term seo is better!
perfect one... i do believe that ezine are good no more. seem to be dead. guest post is good in demand. but very hard to get good content and get that publish on blog, i have in the contact with some blog owner they are asking for some money for putting my back links in guest posts. very tough job so far....
yes thats the fact, everybody is working on that. but hard to get good back links if you have a limited budget.
hi in online marketing everything is done to get quality backlinks,and the techiniques you mentioned are still useful, but search engine changing day by day, so change in strategy is always a better option, like video marketing can help in getting good backlinks these days .
Thats really good to know about. do you mind putting more light to it....i'd really like to use that for my blog...if thats proved one.
