    Using the overture tool is a great way to do this.

    using the whole set of overture tools you can get a good indication on searches per month and also how much cpc is on keywords.

    Results are similar to google adwords (for cpc etc) obviously not exactly. But I have found it to be a pretty good indication.

    Right now, still mesothelioma and loans! Use the Google Keyword Tool and look up mesothelioma. Choose to display Cost and Position estimates.

    That list is old. But it's still keywords in that line. Recall mesothelioma related was on top of that list, when you look at the cpc at adwords.

    If you check out SpyFu, they have a list of the most costly keywords. You can also enter potential keywords and see how much advertisers are paying for that keyword and how many ads are listed in search results monthly.
