Hello, I need a logo for http://kpopsurf.com Some of my ideas are: Surfing and/or wave themed. White/Pink/Grey themed, so I hope you know which color scheme to use as a logo designer. Feel free to discuss any ideas with me. The website is based on Korean News and revolves around the Korean media. I want the logo to be clean and sort of "casual" looking while maintaining the seriousness of the website. Our competitors include (for brain storming): http://allkpop.com http://koreaboo.com http://seoulbeats.com http://dkpopnews.net http://soompi.com More than one entry allowed, contest is scheduled to end in 3 days. I reserve the right to end the contest early if I see a good logo I want to use, I also reserve the right to extend the contest if I do not like any of the entries. Lastly, I reserve the right to not pick any of the submissions. Payment will be made via PayPal for $15 USD.
It's okay but definitely not what I wanted. No surf/wave theme either. There's way too much going on. You have the right idea but it's just not executed well. It could also look cleaner. Colors don't blend in well.
I like where you're headed with this, but the surfer and the wave doesn't look good. I like the little stars you put in, it adds character (though it looks a bit plain). Sorry, but I need something better.
i need to know more specifically..vat u want to convey through your logo? vat personality your brand shall have? who shall be target audience? vat r your companies core competencies and vats most important to your cusmtomers
The personality should be "fun" and "professional." Target audience is mainly female - half in their teens. What's important? Like most businesses, the customers' satisfaction. If they are satisfied with the work we are providing them, they will come back for more. I like the simplicity, but I need it to be a bit more "POP." The surfer and the wave don't fit in very well... I don't know what's wrong with it, but it's very off. Perhaps we can try it with the wave going over the direction of the words? Let's try to combine the image and the words. You don't HAVE to stick to 3 color schemes. As a designer, you should be able to add your own feel to it or even decide which color to add to enhance your work (and our logo). It was nice, sending a reply. Wow! This is very nice! Can you make the wave a little more like this? (A little more "wave"-ey feel, less splash; and can I see a version with the wave on the other side as well?) I like the wave wrapping around the font. Really liked it. I don't know about having the flare in the middle, though. Can I see the version without it? EDIT: I am extending the contest for another 3 days. I realize it takes time to create good work, so here's a bit more time!
