Why RU is so slow even with 50 links per day? Another thing, it is also keeping direct links / hot links in queue for longer period.

RU is dead and has been for ages but i need to get my files up. Can anyone confirm if ftp is ok , then ill need to buy a server

 

FTP is OK, but uploaded files are not showing in filemanager so it's not OK

 

Yea I've found that with ftp, my last one took 6 hours to appear, and some just disappear forever, RU is just plain frustrating waste of time, browser might be ok with tiny files or a fast internet connection but as there is no resume I can't use that method so altogether I'm buggered

 

Ru takes A long time

 

Ftp works with 500 kb/s for me and after upload is finished the file don't appear in my filemanager.
I tried twice, same result.

 

So basically nothing works .... grrr

 

Absolutely not. Try both FTP - they do work, files may appear with the delay, however they will appear. RU works, at least several thousand files have been uploaded today. Web upload also works. Upload in some cases may work unstable, however partners continue uploading files. And we can see that users also download files and continue making sales.

 

Ordered sborg to get my files from rs to fp , hope that will work better. RU never works atm, always in queue then fails.

 

Putting more limits on FTP, RU etc will easily solve current issues as it all began with unexpected rush of traffic.

Hope free & premium user's download speeds are not affected by upload problems as it can create a bad impression among people and can affect sales & downloads.

 

Limiting these for free users is a good option. Most serious uploaders will have FP premium accounts

 

But the problem is if free users speed is too low they might think premium too will be like that and they might start ignoring download links. Bringing useful limits like free user storage 500 GB & daily remote upload quota 10 GB etc might be very useful.

 

I have heard of filepost , yet to try them am ddefinitely going to try them from now

 

I think if speed is slow for free users that be a one more reason to buy premium, but if user buy premium and get slow speed this may be a real problem.

 

I would vote for a 10GB daily limit on files successfully uploaded as long as there wasn't any special arrangements

Really ? I have been stuck in queue for days , then when it finally starts it errors out at around 70% :S ... never gonna get my megathread started
