Site looks good. Biggest thing will be will be promotion to get that synergy of listings and buyers to get the site off the ground. Solid start.

Optimize it for search engines, use good anchor text, post a link to it on several forums, submit it to some directories (DMOZ, Yahoo, etc.)
Maybe start a blog with some relevent, good quality content to promote your site..

I just logged in and submitted an ad to test the site. Everything worked very smoothly. This is a good idea for a site.

One note, the registration form said phone number, address, etc were "required." Maybe add a little footnote on why this is necessary?

Also, whenever people have to give an email address to a site, they like to see a note saying "we will never give your email address out" or "we will never send you unsolicited messages." I hope you're not planning on using my email! :)

Another note is it seemed like maaaaybe there were a few too many steps in the placing-an-ad process? Any way to condense the process? (I admit I haven't thought this through)

Finally, I was trying to think of an appropriate ad, just to help build some content, and I ended up posting a writers-wanted ad for my website in your general wanted section. Maybe this is a way to get users and build your community is encouraging users to post their sites and build their profiles.

Anyway, I think it's a worthwhile website. Good luck!

Thanks so much for the advice and feedback. All advice and feedback is being taken into consideration. I am working on optimizing the site for search engines. I will also look at condensing the ad placement and the sign up process.

Thanks for the tips! Please everyone provide some feedback! All is appreciated. Thank you.

    P.S.
I will not use anyone information for unsolicited messages or anything unethical :)
