When i burn MP3 for my car the CD sounds ok in the computer but when i put it in the CD in the car some songs make like "skrrriiiiiiietch" sound in every 1 min or soo. Should i run a disk opimize before burn or is there some setting i should do. I think make small folders is better then only one folder for all 300 song any other tips?

I've burnt a few Audio CDs for my car and they work perfect. I used to use Nero for burning CDs.. but now I simply use Windows XP CD writer.. and use Windows Media Player to burn your Audio CD. It should just fine.

I've never heard of that happening before. try an alternate burning method like rosiee said to see if you have the same problem without Nero. Nero can be fickle at times or it least it has been for me in the past.

There are a few things to look at.

Have your tried using another brand of media disc or burning program? Or has CD-R discs worked before in your Car CD Player (not all CD players can play CD-R's correctly).

Download Simple MP3 Maker and convert your MP3 files into WAV format then burn these onto disc.

Also update Nero with the latest update if possible, some of their versions cause this type of problem.

How are you creating the MP3's? If its from a CD use the tool mentioned above to extract the audio from the disc.

You might need to download a plug-in for mp3 burning though i'm pretty sure the latest versions can do that on their own.

When you insert the CD to the writer, you should get a window asking for your action.. It should display options like 'Burn CD', 'Burn Audio CD' and 'Open to Browse'. You should select the appropriate option from there.

Alternatively, you can use the 'Help' in Windows Media Player:

I think the reason is in the conversion accuracy and compression rates. Before burning CD with Nero convert MP3 to .wav files then use those wav files to burn your CD.

Yes WAV is a larger file but only as a data file. Remember you are burning as audio so it is length of the songs that matter, not the size or format of the actual file.

P.S they arent stupid questions ;)
