    Hi,

I'm currently having a problem with a certain keyword where the ad's aren't being displayed when searches are made despite using accelerated ad's and being nowhere near the daily budget limit, plus the average positioning in the AdWords stats is 1.0. I've also checked the IP address is within the advertising range and it is, so I'm unsure about what else could be causing this problem.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue before and do you know the most likely reason for this?

    Thanks,
    Kev

    Hi Kev,

What do you exactly with the ad is not being displayed?

Do you mean that you can't see your own ad or do you mean that the stats show 0 impressions - if you can't see your own ad this do not means that it isn't displayed as is very difficulty to you see your own ad.

There are two points that you need to know:

    1) Delivery method: You are using "accelerated" delivery, not "full delivery" (that don't exist) - there is no guarantee that your add will be shown for every search - the option accelerated delivery show your ad more frequently if compared to standard delivery as it ignore your daily budget but only a state-of-art Quality score will guarantee that you ad will be shown for all searchs.

    2) Quality Score: You don't know if the quality Score of your keyword is "Low", "regular", "medium", "good", "excellent" or "state-of-art" - you only know that it is not terrible due your keyword is active - Google don't give at this moment a column of quality score (They are beta testing this new feature at this moment) the quality score has an important influence in the frequency of you keyword is triggered even your stat show pos=1.

Probably these keywords has a bad quality score, give them a time and keep optimizing your ads focusing CTR%

Thanks micromag, the keyword is getting impressions but the amount is reduced from a figures over the last few months.

I have noticed that touchlocal are advertising the clients listing page on AdWords for this keyword. Is it possible that the ad's are being rotated with touchlocal?
