You can get lots of traffic from promoting your website in social networks. By promoting there yo will get instant traffic to your website.

I have consistently used article marketing to drive traffic to my sites. I figure if someone is interested enough to read my article and click on the link in the resource box, then that's not only traffic, it's targeted traffic. And I've found that although I may not have huge traffic numbers, what I do get converts pretty well.

 

you can try adwords, but you have to make sure your return on investment is worth the cost of it.
