Understanding the search engines is paramount to rank any website on the major search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo. However for some insane reason many of the users on this forum claim to offer SEO services, then when you check their posts they are asking how to do seo...questions need to be answered. 1) Why are they allowed to do this? 2) Using the old seo tactics of the past WILL NOT work in the future, since the Panda update major changes in rankings have occured and if you don't know how to improve a sites ranking in this new era your seo efforts are dead. We have tried to provide this forum with informative posts recently and for some reason they have been removed and we have received an infraction for spamming the forum - we can't understand as the information we gave WAS of use and if used will result in web success, it is unfortunate that the majority of users on here will only know they have failed when their sites plummet off the rankings. Article and directory submissions are dead! Blog comments are spammed to death Press releases over used Your website might be OK now, but in 6 months when further algorithium updates are released things will be different - mark our words...Using our expertise, we have had 1 of our sites penalized with Panda and now it is back on page 1 for a major search term, so we know what we are talking about.
I'm not sure what we can do about people exploiting loopholes, however it would be nice if you could share your 'expertise' to help the honest SEO community
Spot on Geester, i have to admit it. Even i came across such situation where a member asks a question and he/she gets lot of suggestions and the next day in another thread alas there the same person marketing as SEO Analyst offering different SEO services. I wonder how come? I really doubt do they have any intention of helping others with valid proof of what they are saying or just for namesake they are posting? I would also like to point out that not all of them are doing the same. I know as a member our responsibility is to provide valid and accurate information to all than just guessing, but sometimes i see more of a guess rather than a real solution for the problem. DP Forum moderators should find a solution for this before it's too late.
Are not profile links dead? Btw, Article, Blog comments both still works fine for me though article links lost a little power after panda
